Afterimages is my abstract watercolor series exploring what remains after looking, when color, movement, and sensation loosen what we think we know and make room for something unexpected to emerge.

These works push at the boundary between control and unpredictability, where technique sets things in motion and water determines what can emerge. Pigment blooms, separates, stains, and leaves its trace, as water, gravity, and time introduce their own logic into the painting. Each work begins with a clear intention, while leaving enough space for unpredictability to become part of its life rather than something to be controlled away.
