Rifts
Paintings shaped by separation, the pull of connection, and the hope of healing into something new.

A rift holds the possibility of movement in either direction. Its edges may be pulling apart or drawing together; fragments may be scattering or finding their way into a different whole. Like a scar, it can carry the memory of separation and the strength of what has joined again. We feel the depth of the change before we know what it will bring.

Rifts invites us to stay close to these unsettled places, to notice the echoes across a divide and the edges reaching toward one another. As things come apart or find their way together, other worlds begin to emerge, their meaning still beyond our reach. Here, we might recognize something of our own: grief, belonging, and the resilience to find a different wholeness, carrying the traces of where we have been into a life we cannot yet imagine.
